There’s nothing I love more than a good story, and your engagement shoot can be a fun way to tell part of yours. Choosing a location that’s meaningful to you will infuse your photos with personality. Is there a spot you went on your first date? A favorite hike you conquered together?

What to Wear

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in! Some couples dress up in their Sunday best, while others gravitate toward bold patterns and a more casual style. I want to capture you in your element, so feel free to get creative with your wardrobe and let your personality show. You’re welcome to bring a second outfit if you want to add variety.

If you are planning to use your engagement photos in your invitations, you should schedule your shoot for two to four weeks before you plan to mail them.

The best time to shoot is in the evening, a few hours before sunset. The exact timing will vary depending on the time of year and the location, but I'll work with you to find the perfect time.
